 Here is a card I made a couple weeks ago.  I wanted to make some Birthday cards and use the Queen Bee bundle with some of my Designer Series Paper (DSP)

Wow how time has gone by with Covid

 I haven't been here since June last year.  Not even for a peek.  Looking back I only posted 2 times last year and this is the first post this year and the year is almost done!  What a slacker I am!!

2019 Christmas Card Workshop

Come make your Christmas Cards and have them ready to send Dec. 1st.

Details:

1. Decide Which cards you want to make (Click on the pic below for more detail)

•  Deer

•  Snowman

•  Pinecones

•  Plaid tree

2. Decide how many of each
3. Decide When: Sunday Nov 17th at 1400 (2:00) or Monday Nov 18th at 1630 (4:30)
4. RSVP before November 13th  

All the supplies you need will be provided.

Cost is $2.50 each and includes envelopes.

Halloween Cards

I made a couple Halloween cards this past weekend.  I used the wicked bundle (153041) and the black sparkle ribbon (147897) from the Holiday Caty.

DSP is from last year along with the little spider charm.

Here is a close up of the spider charm.

I also used wink of stella on the stamped spiders to give them a shimmer.

Today Stampin' Up! released their retiring lists (see below).
Be sure to stock up on re-inkers and paper for the retiring 2017-19 In-Colors before they are gone.

Also, Stampin' Up! is discontinuing their paper trimmer and the Big Shot.

Sapphire Stampers Feb 17th Hostess is Kathy P.

We put together a One Sheet Wonder and made 14 cards from one sheet of 12 x 12 DSP.

We used the Share What You Love Specialty DSP (146926).  

This is such a versatile paper.  I have used it for a lot of my projects this year.

This is the same sheet of paper, just using both sides of the paper.

Here is the  template for cutting the DSP to make 14 cards.

Sapphire Stampers club Jan.17th-Hostess Linda B

Here are the projects that we made at the last club.
This was a cute container that we made using 2 sheets of 12 x 12 DSP

 The flowers were colored using the blends and we added a petal pink rhinestone gem on the old olive linen thread bow (see close up below)

 The card below uses the Joseph's coat technique. 

This technique uses sponge daubers to put color on the paper

emboss the flower stamp in clear embossing and then

cover the entire piece of paper with a dark ink to cover.

After the ink has dried completely, use a tissue to uncover the color under the embossing 

The lovely lipstick foil behind the dark paper you can get as a Sale-a-bration freebie with a $50.00 purchase.

 Below we made a valentine card and used the tufted embossing folder.

 

The card below uses the same layout as the Valentine card above but with a butterfly theme.

The tin tile embossing folder was used on this card

If you look real close in the butterfly above, you can see a spritz of shimmer paint.

Shimmer paint is my latest obsession!

New Stamping Clubs forming for 2019

Hello, I am getting ready to form Stamp clubs for 2019.

You may be asking, “What is a Stamp Club??”
A stamp club is a great way to learn techniques, how to use different products and you don't have to worry about making a mess or cleaning up your house because I hold all the clubs at my house.  Plus you get together with new and old friends.  Want to make your own Christmas cards?  Make little gift items?  Sign up for club and learn how.

How it works:
A minimum of 4 people and max of 6 per club.

Each person in the club is committed to participating in each meeting
which is based on the amount of people in the club.  Usually it is
once a month.
     *For example:  if there are 4 people in the club, there will be 4
club meetings and each person is committed to purchasing a minimum of
$37.50 per meeting.

Each person will have an opportunity to receive hostess benefits at one
of the meetings.
     *That means you get to choose free stuff from the catalog and
benefit from promotions going on at the time of the meeting. (And
Stampin' Up has a lot of promotions!)
I will go over everything at the first meeting so don't worry.

I am planning Jan 17th at 4:30 for the first meeting.
