Christmas Card workshop

Hello,
I am really excited with this years Christmas card selection.  I had so much fun making them!
Save the date:  Nov. 19th at 2:00 pm.  Imagine getting your cards ready before Dec 1st!
Cost is $2.50 per card and that includes envelopes!  Everything is cut out and ready for you to make.

Look thru the selection below and pick which ones you would like to make and how many of each.
Let me know by Nov 13th so I can get all the parts ready for you.

Clubs forming for the year

Hello, I am getting ready to form Stamp clubs for the year.

You may be asking, What is a Stamp Club??
A stamp club is a great way to learn techniques, how to use different
products and you don't have to worry about making a mess or cleaning up your house because I hold all the clubs at my house.  Plus you get together with new and old friends.  Want to make your
own Christmas cards?  Make little gift items?  Sign up for club and learn how.




How it works:
A minimum of 4 people and max of 6 per club.

Each person in the club is committed to participating in each meeting
which is based on the amount of people in the club.  Usually it is
once a month.
     *For example:  if there are 4 people in the club, there will be 4
club meetings and each person is committed to purchasing a minimum of
$37.50 per meeting.
   

*If there are 5 people in the club, there will be 5 club meetings
and each person is committed to purchasing a minimum of $30.00 per
meeting.
     *And if there are 6 people in the club, there will be 6 meetings
and each person is committed to purchasing a minimum of $25.00 per
meeting.

Each person will have an opportunity to receive hostess benefits st one
of the meetings.
     *That means you get to choose free stuff from the catalog and
benefit from promotions going on at the time of the meeting. (And
Stampin' Up has a lot of promotions!)
I will go over everything at the first meeting so don't worry.

Watching the Hummingbirds

I put up 2 hummingbird feeders this spring and I have enjoyed watching the action.  The number of birds showing up to the feeder have gradually been increasing.  I sometimes have 3 at a time that come and of course chase each other off.  But they are fun to watch!

 Below she is peeking from behind the feeder.

This years flower pots are doing extremely well this year.

4th of July Cards

I made a couple of cards to send for the 4th of July
The one on the right has glimmer paper for the star cutout.

Daisy Delight Fun!

I have been playing with the daisy delight bundle.
I am lovin' it!  I also love the new Berry Burst In-Color!

The daisy delight set is a photopolymer.

I love that! because I was able to bend the stem to work the way I wanted.

Adding a little lace gives it a very delicate look

Have I mentioned the Glitter Enamel dots?  Love them!!

I can't wait to get the gold faceted gems (clear faceted in center of daisy)

Sapphire Stampers Club May 11th- Hostess Judy H.

I just realized that I didn't post pics of the projects from Club on May 11th.

Sapphire Stampers Club March 16th- Hostess Linda B.

Had to get into Easter mode this club since Easter is in April.

Below we used the Sale-A-Bration set "Hey Chick"

A little sweet sugarplum and some peekaboo peach made a nice color combo. 

We also used some of the watercolor pencils. 

I am so happy that Stampin' Up brought them back.

Now if they could get enough so they weren't out of stock!

 

The mini egg carton below holds 4 eggs.

It is adorable!

 A little more peekaboo peach to coordinate with the card

 We also did this easy peasy watercolor technique

 below is using flirty flamingo and pear pizazz for the leaves

 

I liked it so much I tried it in different colors! 

Sapphire Stampers Club Feb 16th- Hostess Kathy P.

We had a fun evening putting these projects together.

The Dream Catcher was a favorite!

 This Dream Catcher Card uses a doily to catch the dreams.

I did copy this idea from someone.  I can't remember who it was. 

But I loved it so much that I even bought the feather stamp set  just so we could make it.

Valentine Ideas

I have been making a few Valentines.

This one is for my honey.  I hope he likes it.

I used the free Sale-A-Bration set Delicate Details.  

I embossed the lace details using white embossing powder.

 I embossed a heart from the Sending Love embellishments with copper embossing powder.  

The sentiment is embossed with the copper embossing powder also.  

I used a retired set for the "I love you the most" sentiment.

The blushing bride glimmer paper strip adds a little more bling.

I don't think you can have too much bling on a Valentine card.

Sapphire Stampers Club Jan. 19th-Shari K hostess

Hello,
I have been a little behind  in my blogging.  Here are the projects that we made at the January club night.
The theme/technique for the evening was the masking technique.

The Card below uses the Touches of Texture set 143251

and gorgeous grunge set 130517

The colors are dapper denim and crushed curry on whisper white

 We made the mini magazine holder using dapper denim and the In-Color DSP paper stack

The wink of stella was used on the dragon fly to make it pop.

The masking technique was used on the ww paper using gorgeous grunge and crushed curry ink.

The dragon fly was masked off to keep the flowers show depth behind.

 The masking below was to make the contrast between the sky and the snow.

The classic Lovely as a tree set 128655 was used.

The color was applied using sponge daubers with

Bermuda bay, only orange and crushed curry on the shimmery white cardstock

 And since Valentines day is coming we made a card using the Sealed with Love set 142815

The sending love dsp pack 142733 makes a great background paper

 The new doilies are really nice.  They are laser cut and ww on one side and vv on the other.

The heart was cut out of the copper foil using the love notes framelits dies 142752 

The sending love ribbon pack 142737 supplied the red grosgrain ribbon that holds the heart.

 

It was a fun evening!
