This year was Stampin' Up!s 30th Anniversary. I made 60 cards to swap with other demonstrators.

I also made a charm bracelet using all Stampin' Up! trinkets.  I wore it while I was at On Stage.
15 Years of trinkets I had saved!
Do you recognize them?
It got pretty crazy Friday night!
This is what it looked like when everyone got out for lunch.
There were over 6000 people.

Sapphire Stampers Club Nov 17th (Judy Mae H. is hostess)

I have so many Judy's in my clubs this year!
There are 3 all together.
I have never known so many Judy's.
Judy Mae made a tasty soup (can not spell the name of the soup). But, it was a cabbage and potato cream soup.  She also made Irish Soda bread to eat with it.  For dessert, she brought a carrot cake.  Thanks Judy Mae!

Now for pictures of the projects.
This card uses the festive trees set and the "On Point" embossing folder.
The colors are garden green and cherry cobbler along with Baked Brown Sugar.
Lot's of layers on this card.
This card was a new technique for the evening.
One of the techniques was to use the "Stampamajig" to line up the ornament and the hook.
The colors of paper are VV, cherry cobbler and the under the tree specialty DSP.
We used the Ornamental Pine stamp set using Always Artichoke, Soft Suede and Cherry cobbler inks.
To give it the glittery effect, we covered the stamped image piece of paper with versa mark and then used the iridescent ice embossing powder.
The silver ribbon and "All is Calm" snowflake embellishment gave it a little more bling!
Fun card to make.
The little wreath tea light below was made using the wonderous wreath set.
We stamped 3 wreaths and used some of the Trim the tree paperstack paper to wrap around the electric tea light.  The bow is made with the cherry cobbler seam binding ribbon.
So cute!  I found this on another website and couldn't resist making them.
You had to "futz" with the bow a bit, but they turned out cute!
The card below also uses garden green and cherry cobbler.
The stamp comes from the "Mingle all the Way" set
There are  2 types of DSP.  "Under the tree" (herringbone pattern) and "Trim the tree" (plaid piece) paper stack.
The ribbon is the cherry cobbler seam binding ribbon.  We had to do a little fussy cutting for the Cheer.

Bitterroot Stampers Club (Season 4) Nov 13th (Jackie C. is hostess)

Jackie made a delicious corn chowder soup with bread for dinner.  Yum!
We also had pumpkin bread with cream cheese frosting and we washed it all down with Almond Joys!
Fun Christmas projects for this class.
I'm going to post the pictures of the projects when I post about the 2nd club (Sapphire Stampers)

Christmas Card Class

Hello, It's time for my Christmas Card class!
I have 4 different designs this year.
I work my Christmas Card classes a little different than most of my workshops.
So let me explain:
  • First off you don't have to feel obligated to purchase anything from the catalog (but I would be happy to put an order in for you anytime!)
  • You only pay for the cards you make.
    • $2.00 each.
  • Look at the designs below and pick the one(s) you want to make and decide how many of each and let me know by Nov. 12th. (I need time to make all the kits for everyone)
  • Decide which of the 2 days you want to come make them (let me know this part too)
    • Saturday Nov 15th at 4:00 pm
    • Sunday Nov 16th at 1:00 pm
  • Go home with your Christmas Cards ready to address and send (envelopes are included)!
 #1- Silver Snowflake
(just a heads up-this card is a little more advanced and takes more time)
You may have noticed that one has a bow and one has Washi tape (that is to make it easier to mail)
 #2- Trees
 #3-Merry Christmas
#4- Gold Stars

2013 Christmas Card

This is our Christmas card for 2013.
Every year I keep saying that I am going to make a Christmas card that doesn't involve a lot of parts and take a long time to put together.  Well that didn't happen again.
This card had a lot going on.

The background (soft suede was embossed using the "Pretty Print textured impressions folder"
Then I sponged it with soft suede ink to bring out the texture.

Santa is stamped using the "Santa's List" set with basic black ink.
I then colored him using cherry cobbler ink and baked brown sugar with blender pens.
His cheeks were made rosey with pink pirouette ink.

I used the 3 inch circle die to cut out the circle.  I then sponged the edge of Santa's circle with soft suede ink. The champagne glitter paper was cut out using the 3.5 inch die.

This snowflake involved using the festive flurry framelets to cut out the silver glitter snowflake and marina mist with the snowflake punch (discontinued).  The center is a Frosted Finishes Embellishment.

The inside greeting is the "Merry Little Christmas" stamp set in cherry cobbler and always artichoke.

Bitterroot Stampers Club (Season 3) Nov. 13 (Kathy P. is hostess)

I am finally getting some posts on here.  Starting to catch up (hopefully) with all the happenings from the holidays.

This is season 3 for the stamp club and our first meeting was on Wed. Nov. 13th.
I made soup for everyone and we had a few Almond Joy's (drink).

We also pulled out our calendars to set up the rest of our get togethers and drew names to determine who would be the hostess.
It was also decided that the Hostess would bring a healthy treat/snack.
I am adding the date info here for reference.
1600 will be the time for all dates

Nov 13th- Kathy P.
Dec-Skip
Jan 15th.- Jackie C.
Feb.4th- Judy L.
Mar 12th- Marti B.
April 9th- Shirley M.
May 7th- Donna S.

Below are the projects that we made Nov. 13th.
This Christmas card used the Thinlits to cut out the Merry using the gold foil paper.
The Santa is from the Santa's List set and colored with cherry cobbler, baked brown sugar and pink pirouette ink using blender pens.

The window box below was decorated with 1 inch stitched edge ribbon.
The silver glimmer paper was cut out using the festive flurry framelits dies.
The box was stamped using silver metallic ink and the festive flurry stamp set.

We also decorated some candles, but I didn't get pictures of them. I need to  make sure I get pictures of the projects as we are doing them.

I had another project to do, but we ran out of time.  It also used the Santa's List set.
The Post Card stamp and a greeting from Christmas Messages set.
The paper is very vanilla with early espresso and cherry cobbler ink.
The card uses early espresso and cherry cobbler paper also.

There were too many things that I wanted to show them.  So many things, too little time.
