Stampin' Up! On-Stage 2018

30_YR_LANDING_HEADER22
I went to On Stage this year.  I go every 5 years it coincides with Stampin' Up!'s anniversary.
This year was Stampin' Up!s 30th Anniversary. I made 60 cards to swap with other demonstrators.
Below is my Swap card.

I also made a charm bracelet using all Stampin' Up! trinkets.  I wore it while I was at On Stage.
15 Years of trinkets I had saved!
Do you recognize them?
It got pretty crazy Friday night!
This is what it looked like when everyone got out for lunch.
There were over 6000 people.

We also got a copy of the new Occasions Catalog that goes live Jan 3rd thru June 3rd
20190103_OCC19_en-US We also got a copy of the Sale A Brations Brochure!
It too starts Jan 3rd but only goes thru March.
I can't wait for you to see it!

Stampin' Up Leadership

Today was the last day of Leadership.  I will be heading home tomorrow.  This will be the last leadership event that Stampin' Up will have.  They are making changes to the business and the events.
Stampin' Up will have a meeting every 6 mos. and it will be rotated to different countries.
So here is a short update of the trip.
First off, Leadership was held in Orlando Florida.  The weather was fabulous!  Sunny days and temps around 70ish.
I met so many neat demonstrators this trip.
My shuttle buddy, Nancy below, we rode the trolley to convention from our hotels in the morning.  Nancy is from Maryland and, like me, this was her first Leadership event too.
I met another demonstrator and we became seat buddies.  Julie and I both came to convention without a group and so whoever got to the auditorium first would save the other a seat. Julie is from Northwest part of Florida.  We had fun chatting and cheering during the presentations.
I also met a couple demonstrators from Europe.  Michelle Last from the UK and Jenni Pauli from Germany.
Tonight I went to dinner with a group of demonstrators from Montana, Texas and Alaska.  Some of these ladies I met when I went to the Unite and Excite event in Red Lodge, MT.
Below left to right: Betty, Rea, Diane, Lisa, Alesha, Sheila and Susan in front.

I will add more about leadership later.  It was a blast and I am inspired to do some new fun things.
I got lot's of swaps and pics of display boards!

Bitterroot Stampers-Meeting #3- April 25th

For our club meeting April 25th
We had a surprise party for Marti B.
She had no idea that we were going to celebrate her Birthday which was a couple days earlier.
It was a lot of fun surprising her.
Lygia brought the Keye Lime pie and the mimosas.
It was delicious!
Happy Birthday Marty
Jackie was the hostess for this meeting.  She made a tortilla soup that was very tastey.
Below, Jackie sporting her new granny glasses!
She is stylin'

Definately a Happy Group!
Projects that we made:
Below is a flowerpot card.  It can be used as a gift card holder.
The flowers are attached to a seperate card that slides out of the pot (see below)
The card part below can be used to attach a gift card or
to write a little note.
The blossom punch coordinates with the print blossom set.
This card uses the summer smooches paper and the coordinating stamp set that goes with the suite.
These items will be available in the new catalog starting in June.

Bitterroot Stampers- Mtg #1 March 28th

Wednesday March 28th was our first club night.  Joni was the hostess this night.
We made these boxes including the rose on top.
I used the designer paper from the Sale a Brations catalog and Poppy Parade paper.
The ribbon is the crumb cake seam binding.
We also used the lattice punch with very vanilla paper.
I think they turned out really cute.
These cookies went inside the boxes.
I made them using the Stampin Up Cookie Press.

Next we also made these cute Easter treats.
They are made with crumb cake and so safron for the chick.
Really quick and easy.
I also went over a couple other things:
Making paper look like leather and
the new Summer Smooches Suite coming in April.
I think everyone had a great time and I can't wait for our next get together.

Stamp Workshops Feb 24th and 25th

For my workshop on Friday and Saturday I had 2 cards.
Everyone made 2 of each.
The card below uses the Apothecary set in the Occassions Mini catalog.
I used Pool party, Poppy Parade, Crumb cake papers and the new pleated ribbon (also in the occassions mini)
The Everyday Enchantment designer paper is from the Sale-A-Brations catalog.
This card can be modified to be a Thank You, Sympathy or several other options.
I used a blender pen to get a watercolor effect on the flowers.
The Card below uses the "Faith in Nature" hostess set.
The card stock is Chocolate Chip, Pumpkin Pie, Very Vanilla and Naturals Ivory.
This design for this card came from the Stampin' Up Idea book and catalog.
I used blender pens again to give this card a watercolor effect.
I used Pumpkin Pie and Old Olive inks

I am happy to say that both classes were pretty full.  Yea!
If you didn't get a space reserved. I will be having more.  Send me your email address and I will add you to my mailing list.
Above Left to right- Marilyn, Julie, Jacquie P., Gaynelle, Shirley, Marti.  Below left to right- Corinne and Abby.

Office Valentine Treat Bags

I made these little treat bags for my co-workers.
I filled them with peanuts, peanut butter filled pretzels and peanut butter cups.
I didn't mean to have everything peanutty, but it turned out that way.  They were tastey.
A little salty... a little sweet.
I used the Big shot to emboss the little hearts on the red background paper.
(see below under the silver heart)

I used Cherry Cobbler, Pink Pirouette, Melon Mambo and Silver Glimmer Paper.

An Easter Card

Here is an Easter card that uses the Trendy Trees stamps from Stampin' Up to make the carrot.

My friend Katy sent me the idea for the carrot after she saw it on the internet somewhere. I thought it was a cute idea. This was one of the cards at my card class in March.

Picture from Stampin' Up Convention

I went to Convention with Patricia and her Mother. All 3 of us have been with Stampin' Up for 5 years. So I decided that we needed to go up on stage with the rest of the crazies just because we can. It was a fun time.
